We have enjoyed a quiet relaxing day today. Whilst the weather remained warm the seas are rough which has allowed us to watch the locals as they scramble to secure boats in the bay, remove deck chairs from the beach & continue to wind down ready to put this town to sleep for the winter months ahead. We have been here in Positano since last Saturday. A little piece of paradise! Yesterday we travelled by trains from Florence to Sorrento. The eurostar which we caught to Naples was excellent. This trip took 3 hrs but was a great way to travel in comfort. 4th Sept- on the train to Verona, Italy. Beautiful scenery again along the coast which was a nice surprise as other train trips we felt the train lines go through some average areas compared to what we have seen in the car all those years ago. Arrived in Verona late pm. Delightful place, very excited to see our stunning apartment overlooking Juliet's balcony. A bit surreal!
