Today we went on a trolley tour around DC, very interesting. Lincoln Memorial was pretty special and we got to see a lot of things we wouldn't normally have picked up upon. Don't usually like doing these sort of things but have found it good in terms of orientation in US. Happened upon the Museum of the American Indian almost by accident too - fantastic building, sort of Frank Lloyd-Wright meets Gaudi and some really interesting content. Some pictures in the phot...

After a very pleasant morning pottering around Williamsburg, and a taxi ride across Manhattan, we arrived at Penn Station ready for next stage of the journey. Taxi driver dropped us off somewhere very odd so we ended up getting Maurice the Red Cap to look after us and a fine job he did, finding us great seats and sorting our luggage - in fact his baggage juggling trolley skills were a sight to behold.
