You betcha!
After having undergone levels of screening in security lines,
being scanned with a metal-detecting wand by airport officials,
I feel that traveling these days seem to require some patience;
especially in airports that draw attention to nation's reporting.
Shrouded in secrecy behavior agents may find valid clues,
for passengers who seem to show certain strange behaviors;
a difficult profiling which needs thorough training and scanning,
in today's context where everyone may be deemed a suspect;
As terrorism is the main target that causes this kind of investigation.
As of now, I can't tell the time of our flight bound for Chicago112
passengers in droves show restlessness, uneasy movements;
waiting for their aircrafts to arrive and asking for some updates,
it's like a haven of turmoil, a real encounter to questioning.
Inclement weather is the main reason that causes our delay,
an amalgam of actions being witnessed in the waiting gates;
those who engage in conversation by phone or text messaging,
reading, writing, or watching others in their different ways.
Being stranded for four to five hours at Newark Airport,
can be an experience that may generate annoyance;
but with my confreres whose appetite for talking assures
an answer to transactions and engaging conversations.
When the aircraft arrives and begins to land as we see that,
crew members in attendance start to advise and call us;
this reminds me of my appointment with my own physician,
that I need to be ready for a check-up and other tests to comply.
How I manage to wait while being seated in a chair there
I can't imagine myself so glued to conversation with a friend;
that somehow makes a triumph to define our sense of otherness,
sharing one's time and effort that strikes the heartstring of sharing.
