I've had a bit of a break from my blog, mainly because day to day I haven't had a great deal to tell. Our last week has been mainly chilling out and just wondering around our locations.

In noosa we did visit Australia Zoo, that set up by Steve Irwin, such a lovely zoo.

Then we hit up Byron. I think Byron has I be my favourite place I've been so far! It's a relatively large town in comparison to others with a large stretch of beach. The water was crystal clear and perfect for surfing! The town itself has a very chilled atmosphere... Perhaps helps by the fact that Nimbin (weed central) is an hours drive away.

We took a day trip to Nimbin and it is crazy how openly we were offered weed in the form of cake, cookies and smokes. Never seen anything quite like it!

Today we are in Sydney, waiting for out flight to New Zealand. I am looking forward to exploring New Zealand and to meeting up with a familiar face in Auckland, but I am sad to be leaving Oz. It really had felt my home for the past month and I've met so many lovely people and had a great number of adventures. Australia is such a diverse place, in way of people, land and cultures and I've loved every minute. I definitely plan to come back as there is so much I haven't had a chance to see!
