Catherine Miller I agree with your points! It is so important to take the time to reflect, and to share your new learning. You can benefit from this as much as those with whom you share. Great recap of ideas!

re: photo from 30 May 2009Juberi Green beans are one of my favorite side dihses and I would love this them cooked like this! When we were in Germany and Austria we had Goulash soup at several places and it was amazing. I have not been able to come up with a recipe that matches what we had. It was little chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots and onions cooked with tomatoes but there must have been a certain blend of seasonings that I haven't been able to come up with. Sigh, I am salivating just thinking about it.
re: Chengdu, SichuanInnia Hi, John I sympathize with the plsaeure you took in that junk food feast, since I know Easter weekend would not be complete for me without several long hits of cheap Easter candy. The blog is wonderful! I was pleased that I could understand the lunch group saying Nie hao Mei Gua how are you, America to the camera. My Mandarin is now receding into history. I learned it in the late 1980s.Continue enjoying yourself.I must say it always was very difficult to be by yourself in China because there's always someone who wants to talk at length sometimes.
re: Jiuzhaigou, SichuanDenise this sucks, doesnt the scohol board make the curriculum and set the standards for teachers to teach? the success or failure of a student isnt as much a teachers fault but rather than the methods they are allowed for instruction. The boards set the standards and when students fail they dont look into what fails with the curriculum but point to the teacher and say they not doing their job. thats like saying the horses pulled the carriage in the wrong direction leaving the driver blameless.
re: photo from 19 March 2009Jaftoran Thanks Naomi, I'm glad you like it. It's still in its basic stages right now but as I teravl more I hope to develop the series further, talking to a range of women from various socioeconomic backgrounds and uncovering more about the way that women live around the world.I checked out your blog by the way and really liked it. Do you have twitter? I'd like to follow you but couldn't find a link on your site.
re: Yangshuo, Guangxi ProvinceCerleen Seems to be saying that there are 5% ill-informed eoungh to not know about the sun and earth, yet they're still smart eoungh to see dubya as a bad thing. That is the difference; between cognition and information.

re: This is how you find toilets...Angel Yes you can use them to write checks get cash etc. BUT it is a huge mikatse!Rip the checks up ASAP they give you 6 months with 0% interest but charge you a fee to cash the check and they know you can't pay it all off in 6 months. They will get thier money from you don't fall into this credit trap!Live debt free! It is a wonderful feeling.
re: photo from 11 April 2009Lidney My wife and i felt absolutely chefreul Emmanuel managed to round up his homework by way of the precious recommendations he gained from your very own weblog. It's not at all simplistic to simply happen to be offering thoughts that many the rest might have been selling. And we all take into account we've got the website owner to appreciate for this. Those illustrations you've made, the simple site menu, the friendships you will make it possible to create it's everything wonderful, and it is helping our son and the family feel that that matter is interesting, and that's seriously essential. Thank you for the whole thing!
re: photo from 27 March 2009Julio You may be paying 0% apr, but cash aecvnads cost money. They aren't free. Why do you want to take a cash advance? Unless you are in a bind of some sort, don't do this because you think it will boost your credit score. You have to pay a percentage of that cash advance as a fee! LOL
re: photo from 11 April 2009Kirk Take time off. Not just a year. Follow your nose and do some things that sound at least a litlte fun (lots of internships for people your age) until you find that you are really interested in something, then go back to college(if appropriate) and pursue it. I didn't realize what I really wanted to do was ethnobotany until I was 24.Spend some time alone,too..you've spent your whole life being told what to do. Do some healing and service to clear your mind. Chi gung, yoga,
