After Brisbane, we made the 2 hour trip up to Noosa to see Will's family freinds, the Cokells. We arrived after a traffic ridden journey where we saw an overturned concrete mixer and a caravan fall into a 20 ft gauge!!! Our welcome could not have been any better. We were greeted to a full english roast, beef, yorkshire puddings gravy etc! we were in heaven... that night we relaxed and watched a movie. Their house was incredible, really modern with an infinity pool and a great view over the golf course and the sea and national park! The next day we went into Noosa town where i instantly fell in love with the place. It is so chilled out and has so many nice bars and restaurants along the main high street. I will live there when im older! Will and Harry had another go at surfing on a shortboard which failed miserably despite their overgrown confidence whilst i had a run along the beach during the sunset which was really nice. We then went for a meal in town and returned back home to watch some football. In the morning we went for a round of golf at Noosa Golf Course. It was really scenic and a great place to have my first round of golf. My technique left alot to be desired as i managed to hit Harry's golf buggy about 50 yards wide of the green, but still provided a lot of laughs as Harry dived for cover! We also saw kangeroos wondering the course and we raced our buggys along the green. Just to confirm i did come a distant last but did myself no disgrace for a first time player! Naaaaaaat (lessons will follow)
After the game we returned back to the Cokells, gave them a bottle of wine and headed to Hervey bay.
