Today was a pretty uneventful day. We traveled for at least 8 hours only making 3 stops. We all had homework due tonight, so the beginning of the trip was really quiet since everyone procrastinated. Then once everyone finished the homework, we played a game, called the label game? (this may not be its actually name). Anyways, the game basically consists of each person making up a famous person or character and putting on the forehead of someone else. Then we all have to ask yes or no questions to try to figure out what name was on our own foreheads. For instance, in the first round I was Angelica off of the Rugrats, and the second I was Willy Wonka. This might be one of my new favorites. It definitely made the time go by much faster. Plus it was hilarious. So.. We played that game for an hour, took a break for lunch, then played for at least another hour.Â
The ride was absolutely beautiful.  I know I keep saying beautiful and amazing, but it is! I wish I knew some better words to describe all of this. The landscape and countryside of Spain is unlike anything I have ever seen before. It would go from a ridiculously busy and compact city to absolutely nothing but mountains and land. Not to mention the sea of windmills. Every once in a while we would drive by a field that would have a couple hundred windmills turning as far as you could see in the distance. It was crazy! I wish we had that kind of beauty nearer to home. Seeing places like this is such a reminder of God's expanse. He is huge and created all the beauty that I am privileged to experience this summer! I am so blessed to be loved by a Father who is glorious!
That night we had a welcome dinner at the hotel. They served us steak, french fries, and ice cream. We were all excited to have a taste from back home. This hotel isn't quite as nice as the first one was, but it is definitely WAY better than what I stayed in with my parents when I came in 6th grade? But that isn't really saying much. Anyways.. After dinner we went to the University because there are a bunch of Georgia Tech students studying in Barcelona for the summer. One of my sorority sisters is actually here, but I haven't gotten to see her yet. :(  It was a pretty uneventful day, which is actually a pretty good thing.Â
