Happy Birthday Greg! Hope all is well. Talk to you soon.
Irene
Not sure if you got my email, but I sent you my itinerary. Really looking forward to seeing you guys (and really just to getting out of the hospital for a bit). Anyway, it seems that you don't need a visa for Thailand and I think we could probably take care of the Cambodia visas in Thailand, right? Let me know if I'm wrong (call, text, email...). Otherwise, let me know if you want me to bring anything or make any arrangements for the time I'll be visiting with you guys.
Looking forward to seeing you...

Hi Guys,
This must be a real cultural change from what you have seen and experinced thus far. The long flight from Australia alone is exhausting, but well woth it I am sure. Reading your blog brings back memories of not so long ago, not understanding the language, picnics in the park, new friends that you make, etc. You will treasure these memories forever. Jo, the pictures are worth a thousands words. They are great and so are the blogs. Greg, I was apprehensive when you decided to do this "world tour". But now I am gland for you and Jo (don't tell anyone I said that). You are a much braver soul than I ever will be.
Happy anniversary to both of you and Happy Birthday Greg (Celebrate, celebrate sing to the music...).
Be safe, be happy..... Love Mom and Dad

Greg -
Happy B-day dude... You popped a guy for trying to sell you Praza shoes (typo intentional). Sweet. I am sure they did come at a special price, some sort of viral disease.
Word.

I went through so many emotions reading your best blog ever. I felt your exhaustion between Darwin and Singapore (happy belated anniversary by the way... little did I know when I collected you Jo three years ago at Belfast airport, that that dreamy look in your eyes, having met Greg, would lead to your trip of a lifetime.Your photos still "speak" dreamy!!) Anyway back to your blog- just amazing. Loved the corrugated hut. From wishing we were there to.. glad we are not - hooks in the skin - I don't think so. Yuck! Nevertheless you have certainly experienced a different Malaysia than the one we visited together briefly. Enjoy Thailand and Greg - Many Happy Returns for your BIG day - I can visualise the cocktails being concockted already. Keep safe and look after each other. Love you. Mum xx

Hi Greg & Jo
It doesn't sound like you had such a nice time on your travels from Broome to Darwin (well, apart from the occasional dip in the waterfall/thermal springs which both sounded great!!). I heard the story about the Aboriginal woman who was saved by her husband from the croc in Litchfield Park (it made the newspapers in Melbourne). I couldn't believe it - he apparently just jumped on the critter's back and it let go and swam off! That's courage.
Anyway, enjoy the trip to South East Asia. And remember to try an sneak some time in Laos (Luang Prabang is well worth a visit).
Take care and keep me posted,
Paul

Hi Guys
I have just made it back to Melbourne after a great couple of weeks in Broome/Cape Leveque. It's really cold down here - after sweating almost non-stop while in Broome, I arrived last night to 18 degrees (Celsius) and started shivering uncontrollably. Incredible.
I'm still dreaming about the mudcrabs we ate up at Cape Leveque - I will never forget them! Bumping into you both in the camping ground and spending a couple of awesome days together was one of the highlights of my short trip.
Hope "The Beast" is now behaving himself after repairs in Broome and that you made it to Fitzroy Crossing/Katherine/Darwin. That's one hell of a trip across the outback, so I hope you were safe.
I'll send some of my photos from "Mudcrabfest 08", but from the looks of your blog, you already have enough of the highlights.
Good luck with the rest of your trip. Bon voyage!

Hi Greg and Jo, its been a while. Love your pics and Blogs. Glad that you are having fun in the sun and fishing too (fish for dinner it is). We are doing great. Babcias are well too. Irene will be over for Fri and Sat. We'll be getting ready for Swieconka this week and share it with both of you (in spirit of course). Love those dolphins. How often can you get that close to them and in the wild??? This is GREAT. Enjoy the sun and your adventures. Keep well and be safe. Love Mom and Dad.

Hi! Just stopping by to say hello! Glad everything is going well! I love the dolphins...so fun! Although the hook stories sounded painful, I couldn't help but chuckle a little!
Well, keep up the fun! See you in a few months!? Love ya's.

Jo & Greg, Poppa and Iave just read your latest BLOG - we are green with envey, all those lovely beaches, I enjoyed the Sydney ones and Brisbane with Bryan & Lani. The pair of you look so happy and I only hope that when you decide where you want to live it is DOWN UNDER. Poppa and I are in good health. I go for another injection tomorrow and Alison my friend is taking me up to Auckland and giving Poppa a rest from driving. We both had a good game of golf yesterday and the weather is still very hot. Miss not having you all around and I suppose you know that Lin is now moving to Ohope to live with Peter, she is not selling her house but renting it to Renel in the meantime. I will miss her like crazy but she's promised to come over and spend some of her leasure time with us and Pete said we can join them over there for a break. I know they will be very happy and thats all we can wish for.
Lots of hugs from us both and Greg take care of my precious grandaughter,( no more swimming with the SHARKS )
