Hi Gregg and Jo,
Your trip along the Inca Trail sounded pretty tough,to say the least, but it was obviously so worth it when I look at your wonderful photos of Machu Picchu and the area around it. I'm sure you enjoyed a bit of a break when you got back to Cuzco (or is it Cusco?)
So now for Bolivia . I remember seeing the salt flats in the movie Motorcycle Diaries and they looked awesome but very desolate. Should be a photographer's dream. Can't wait for your next blog. It's like waiting for the next episode of Neighbours.!!!!!
All well here. Weather still great if a little colder. Pussies fit and well.
Mum is enjoying Melbourne. She was at the Melbourne Cup on Tues. and would you believe managed to back the winner. She'll have to treat us all in NZ.
Keep well and safe and look after one another.

I can't believe you have just both completed that!! Wow !! You are both awesome and I'm so proud of you. That has to be the most dramatic scenery I have seen and it must be mind blowing to see it for real...but to have climbed to experience it is such an achievement - well done. Popcorn will never loose its association with Machu Picchu for you both for years to come I bet. A Fantastic blog - congratulations.
PS. Greg I can't believe you carried a 26 kilos load - if you could have seen me struggling with my suitcase the same weight - where were you when I needed you?
Enjoy a good rest in Lake Titicaca - you owe it to yourselves. Take care.
Love Mum

Hi, Greg and Jo. The pictures are awesome. Love the flowers and the ruins. I guess you will not have to take a shower for a few days after all that rain (bath). You (both of you) look relaxed and happy. Enjoy the adventur and be safe. Stay away from the BIG SPIDER! I know that you are getting economics, geography, history, etc. lessons all at the same time and first hand. God Bless you both. Love Mom and Dad.
