Well it's taken 7 weeks but we're back in Bangkok where we started. Bangkok itself is very nice; Steph likes it a bit more than I do (You can drink, shop or go to religious monuments). We've not got the money to shop or drink and we're on our 400th Wat (A large religious building normally containing a Buddah). The people watching is quite interesting though and yesterday we went around a weekend market with over 50,000 stalls which was an experience and our feet felt like we saw them all but Steph got some bits for her birthday.

On the subject; Steph would like to thank everyone for their birthday messages (she's currently typing emails!). We had a nice time and I treated her to a slightly nicer hotel for the night and it was lovely to be able to have a swim this morning.

We're outside the main train station waiting for our train to Hat Yai from where we're getting a boat out to Ko Tarutao National Marine Park. We've got 4 days camping on a beach and snorkelling before moving onto Malaysia. Those with an xmas calandar will notice we're back on schedule and shouldn't have any problems making Singapore for March 21st and flight to Darwin.
