We failed to make it through Heathrow without getting into trouble with the authorities. I'd packed some extra suncream, on Steph's advice, and it turned out to be double the amount I was allowed. Luckily the rubber gloves stayed away, not sure Steph hadn't planned the whole thing!

The take off was not ideal, despite being very comforting I think Steph was as worried as I was. I haven't been in a vehicle that swerved that much since driving up the 127 with Kev on Thursday. Hoping it will make all flights seem better but i doubt it. Steph slept really well on the flight which was good because she doesn't normally sleep anywhere other than a bed.

We're currently waiting in Bangkok Airport for the flight to Hanoi. Have been here for 11 hours, only 4 to go. We've tried out most of the restraunts in the place so if michellin ever need a guide writing I'm up for it. The airport really is the cleanest I've ever seen, a quick mop just isn't good enough here, there's currently a group of 3 cleaners hand scrubbing a 200m concourse!
