Day 11 of our connections tour off to cairns. 7am start from the ferry via 2 islands back to chute harbour where we caught our coach. i was asked to repeat my performance of last night on the coach which i done reluctantly until i got to the point i couldnt remember the next verse. we stopped at a fruit and veg barn in the middle of nowhere, so i had ice cream. our next big thing was round the corner the big mango. we stopped at townsville for lunch, the bakery had no sandwiches so i went for steak at the cafe. we got to cairns at the palm royale appartments. nice rooms with our own pool, a dive pool. it wasnt actually our own pool, we just took control of it. everyone whent to town to the night market, i couldnt be bothered so i just sat by the pool while aisha decided to swim a few km, why on earth someone would want to swim that long, i was happy with a couple of widths. note to self learn to swim when i get home. took a trip to the bottle shop, a drive through bottle shop at that. how cool is that. spent the evening by the pool drinking with the group. tommorows a big day.
