Well we have had a great trip up to now, had fun with our free camp at Gin Gin but not so much with the second in the truck stop just outside Sarina "but you live and learn". Bowen was great with water views right at our front door and laying in the sun with 26 and 28 temps no complaining here, Went up to the lookout and the water ways are breathless I love this place but it is very sad to see it so run down as it was a thriving town when the meat works were up and running. The main Street is a little like a ghost town, and as Graham said why do they not use the Harbour to transport coal and just try to bring some life back to this town, it is so beautiful.
Headed to the Rolling Stone following Mark and Chris, and a lovely place very big but with lots of shade and beautiful a pool, Last night they had the grand opening of their bar area well it was a flop, So the four of us came back to the caravans and along with a couple of new friends we have met had a great night.
The two van parks we have stayed at have been $44 per night a lot more than I thought they would be as we were only paying in the $25 mark in 2008.
I phoned Paronella Park as they have a caravan park next door and Graham and myself would like to see it at night when it is lit up, they told us you can stay there at part of your entry to the park, but you need to book so that one is on our list.
So we will be leaving Rolling Stone on Tuesday morning and we will be free camping up to Mosman.
So that it up to now.
