Day 20 and off we went to the
Daintree Rainforest Graham ,Myself, Sandie
and Chris ,Mark ,The day was a bit over cast as we set off but the drive was great as it gave us the most wonderful views of the Mountain Ranges with the clouds hanging over them. "Just beautiful "
So we headed for the barge that would take us over the Mossman River keeping our eyes open for Crocodiles all the way, on the other side we started our drive up to the Daintree stopping at Alexander lookout on the way then passing Cow Bay, Bailey Point, Thornton Beach, Noah Beach, until we arrived on the Bloomfield Track were we all decided to turn around and head for a coffee and something to eat at Mason's Café were they have the oldest home in the Daintree that was built in 1926, on the way back we stopped at Thornton Beach, Cow Bay, and Cape Kimberley ,
When we were at Cow Beach were the girl got taken by a crocodile a young girl around 9 had been swimming,I asked her wasn't she scared and she told me that she keeps her eyes open when swimming she also told me she lived here and that her dog was taken by a croc down at the barge she said all the crocs in the area that have taken dogs they name the croc after the dog she then rattled off a heap of names. Also Christine and myself had a great time on the swings that were on this beach .
So after a great day out we all headed home .
