Beautiful hot sunny day for our trip across the 'Lagoon' which is actually the river estuary, to the east head where the river meets the Indian Ocean. Here we were to visit the very beautiful Featherbed Nature Reserve, founded by the guy called Smith who found the Coelacanth On the way across in what looked like a galvanised bath tub, we saw seals and gulls catching fish. Long day today after leaving The Battlefields Lodge, seen off BT all the animals and a beautiful sunrise. We spent 5.5hrs in the coach with just a comfort stop at a garage. Very hot. Long journey today but sunshine and fantastic views as we drive through Swaziland which is known as the African Switzerland. It is beautiful but rural and very simple.
