Woke to heavy rain but still warm. After early breakfast walked over long bridge from deck 7 directly into terminal building. Very good tour guide and the overcast day and occasional light rain made the temp bearable.First stop The National War Memorial which is very impressive and set in attractive gardens. Then saw the National Mosque which has a roof like a blue umbrella. Across the road is a very impressive Railway building. Good to think it all started in Rainhill!
The next stop was Independence Square with the British Club, the tallest
Flag pole in Malaysia, St Mary's Cathedral and a lovely Old Colonial building. Then lots of photo opportunities for the Petronas Towers.
We very much like K L. Very clean and green with a mixture of old and new. We actually managed to walk through both Towers too which was a bit special.
