We set off early from ushuaia, the truck felt empty as 6 people had chosen to fly up to Buenos Aires. It was still freezing on the truck but it felt a lot better with less people. The next destination was a place in Chile called Torres del Paine which is famous for trekking. Our tour gave us the opportunity to do the W trek a three or four day trek in the shape of a W and basically going up and down three mountains. The drive to el chalten was really short so we got an extra half day there, and we were staying in another hostel again which is much better than camping. The town was really small and very windy. There were a few different hikes you could do but we weren't that interested! We had to go and rent hiking boots that protected your ankle for the glacier trek in the morning.
