We got off the train at about quarter past 5 in the morning and caught the ferry across the island. Once we got there we had to catch a local bus to our hotel. The bus station we arrived at happen to be right around the corner from our hostel. We only really had one day to see Singapore but like other cities, unless you have lots of money to spend on things there's not that much to do. We had a woman opposite us on the night train that was giving herself a massage but she just looked like she was beating herself up, constantly slapping and punishing herself all over, the train was really really hot because our carriage didn't have the air con switched on for some reason.
