One of India's and the world's largest reserves - Ranthambore was all about the tigers! There were none. Gutted. Curry was good though!

Having visited "The Jaipur" in MK so many times, we thought it would be rude not to come and check out the real thing whilst here and it was certainly well worth the flying visit. Supposedly the most romantic city in India and a total coincidence that we ended up here on Valentine's Day! Udaipur sits in a valley and is built around 3 huge lakes and aside from being a little overrun with tourist shops, it is very beautiful and lives up to it's hype. The next stop on our whistlestop tour of Rajasthan was a 300km drive to Mount Abu, the last part of which was a road that wound it's way up to the 1720m peak (avoiding monkeys along the way!) with great views down into the valley.
