We've hit the 4,000 miles mark and been in three different states today. We left Kingman, Arizona this morning and followed the Mother Road over Sitgreaves Pass (the highest and bendiest point) through Cool Springs, Oatman and Needles, California. Due to paper thin cabin walls, I decide to sneak out at 5am to watch the sunrise over the canyon. We've arrived Arizona and wow has the scenery changed. We spent the day in the Petrified Forest National Park which had stunning views. The scenery changed from one mile to the next but it was HOT! Had a picnic for lunch before setting off to Holbrook and our retreat for the night - a wigwam, yes, a wigwam! Imogen was really excited as we hadn't told her.
