Hi! We are now in Brisbane!! We went to 'Australia Zoo' today, the home of Steve Irwin!!! Unfortunatley we didnt see the man himself, but we saw plenty of animals!! Aligators, Crocs, Snakes...... even saw a couple of Tasmanian Devils, which looked very cute - until you saw their teeth!!!! Thats about it for today will update in a few days. Going to visit Dewi and Rowena tomorrow for the weekend... Had a great few days with Dewi and Rowena! (Thank You!!) It was very nice to see them and their new home! On Friday Dewi took us for a drive up to Mount Glorious, where we went for a walk around the forest! The views were amazing, you could see for miles! On saturday we went to the coast, a town called Redcliff, we had fish 'n chips on the beach while watching people parachuting! (we considered it for about....2 minutes, decided maybe not!!!!) Then on sunday and monday we had a couple of days relaxing, watching TV, its nice to have the remote to ourselves sometimes!! We spent most evenings with Rowenas family, having a meal and a few beers!! (Thank you all!!) We went back to the City for a day, where we went on the CityCat along the river to see all the sights, then went up Mount Coot'ta, where you could lookout over the city. We were very high up, we could see right over to the airport and watch the planes land! We also went on the 'XXXX' brewery tour, which was fun! But the best part was at the end where we got to taste 4 different beers! The first was and old style sparkling beer, then there was a strange one - the guide described it as "smells like ham, tastes like coffee, and its black" it wasnt nice! then we had the latest XXXX gold! We decided to move on after a night back in the city after we were stopped by the Police!!!!! Sirens,Lights the lot!!! We were waiting to cross the road, so when the little green man flashed we crossed, half way across we saw a car coming at speed towards us so we ran across! Only the car was the Police...so they stopped us,and asked why we were running and if we had waited for the green man!!! Im sure they did it to scare us!!! Couldnt sleep that night!!!!! hela na bawb! Yndw, dw i dal yma cofiwch! Wedi bod yn cael amser gwych yn brisbane. Mi dreuliom y dwrnoda cyntaf yn mynd ogwmpas y ddinas ac yn cael ein temptio gan yr holl siopa dillad neis sy ma (yn anffodus does gen i ddim lle yn fy bakpak!). Roedd y diwrnod yn yr 'Austrlia Zoo' yn hwyl. Yn anffodus, doedd Steve Irwin, yr hen croc hunter ddim ogwmpas (crikey mate!) ond mi wnaeth gweld yf holl anifeiliaid rhyfadd neud i fyny am hynny. Dw i wedi penderfynnu mai koala baer oeddwn i mewn past life gan eu bod yn treulio 22 awr o bob dydd yn cysgu, ar ddwy awr arall wedi meddwi ar ddail eucalyptus (sounds familiar?)!! Roedd y diwrnod a dreuliom yn cael tour o ffactory 'XXXX' yn brofiad da, yn enwedig y darn lle oeddan ni yn cael 'tasters' am ddim. 4 diod gwahanol, un cwrw du oedd yn afiach ar gweddill yn neis iawn. Dyma benderfynnu (ar ol cael 4 cwrw!) y buasa mynd ir art gallery yn syniad da (eglurhad am y lluniau diddorol efallai!). Mi gawsom dreulio y Pasg yn ngartref newydd Dewi a Rowena, jyst tu allan i'r ddinas. Aeth Dewi a ni i weld ychydig o'r local attractions. Aeth y rhan fwyaf o'r amser efo teulu Rowena, roedd yn braf cael cyfarfod nhw a mi wnaethon nhw wneud i ni deimlo very much at home! (Braf IAWN hefyd oedd cael ystafelloedd gwely i ni'n hunain am y tro cyntaf ers i ni adael adref!!) Yna yn ol ir ddinas am noson i gael gweld yr olygfa o ben Mount Coot'tha. Bron i ni fethu'r olygfa oherwydd yn holl bobl o Siapan oedd yno efo'u camras!! Gwerth ei weld (yr olygfa ddim y japs)!! Cychwyn am Surfers Paradise nesaf i geisio canfod syrfar dwd i Fiona!!!
