There was i thinking that this whole blog thing would have died a death, Gordon would be moaning about updating it and you'd have had a massive row and the site would be gathering dust somewhere in cyberspace....how wrong i was. Just me being a lazy b**tard and missing out on all the fun.
Sounds like you are having a brilliant time - Worthy could do with some lessons from Vienna on numbers of down downs. (miserly Hmapshireman still on economy drive!).
I now need to read all the entries to see what you have been doing and then i can make sme more informed and witty asides about your big adventure.
Pleased to see you are having fun,
Jim

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. I had a nice day and Gordon cooked a lovely tea. We are in Slovakia now surrounded by beautiful mountain scenes so all very picturesque. Then we move on to Budapest where G will be buying me a slap up dinner - though he doesn't know that part yet!
cheers

At last you've been somewhere Barry hasn't! He's not been to Vienna aparently, Iwas very surprised seeing as he's practically a German. Was impressed with the pics though and so wants to go there, another place for the ever growing list.
Guess you'll be celebrating your Birthday up a Slovakian mountain then M? G sure knows how to spoil you!
Have a lovely day xx
Linda
Happy Birthday Miranda! I thought it was either today or tomorrow, but couldn't remember!
Hope you are having a nice day.

Hello Melissa and er??? what's his name. We're off on Sunday, yeah been off for years.
Any chance you two in Spain over next 3 weeks or more likely France in the 3rd week June 24th/30th. Great to have a pint or three round our respective camp fires.
I emailed you about a week or so ago and it bounced back several times. I think I mentioned the Motorhome Facts web page if you haven't heard of it. Well worth logging into, mine of information and helpful bods.
Private Parts was our RA on Monday as Bika couldn't make it. Not very good quite frankly, for a consultant in some medical field surely holding seminars and lecturing young registrars etc. I volunteered him and his face was not the happiest, but as it was in front of the whole hash he couldn't really back off. We gave Group 4 "The Arm" with a pint of water due to Harry worrying sheep - the little b*****! The laugh, as I saw it, was that Groupers decided he didn't want to wet his old clothing so he totally stripped off, yeah really. Made Mrs Beeton's day but not much to shout about.
Keep enjoying your selves.
Linda & Megs
Hey Guys! This is Megs here, i have done some research on the picture of the river in Prague.
I think it's name is River Vltava which leaves the Czech Republic, runs through Germany to empty into the North Sea! You can correct me if i'm wrong...
Thanks for the new video - looks interesting! Oh and by the way, where's my postcards?!
Hope you are both well & enjoy the rest of your time in the Czech Republic.
Love Megs xxx
Alison And Micky
Loving your work, Gordon and Miranda. I love reading this so much that I've shared this site with my sister, who's never met you, but feels she knows you really well now. It makes my week to log on and follow your latest travels.
Micky and I are off to Greece for a week in the sun starting tomorrow. Found the quiestest place we could; just taking a holdall with shorts etc and Micky's snorkel, mask and flippers, and will totally wind down when we get there.
Take care, love Alison and Micky
Gordon And Miranda
Thanks for all the message board updates ! It's nice to know that life goes on back home.
Megan - Thanks for continuing to log in and keeping Mike and Linda up to date
Hampshire Man - More videos will be forthcoming (with "birds" in)
Portia (Stu) - Womens logic is inescapable and always correct (I'm in a van with with one and felt I had to say that)
Steve D - M is much loving the jokes, the Tesco one caused the van to rock. By the way did you do anything for Dylan's 66th (we picked up an English paper and it had made the news)
Helen - Too late we've done Prague and were unable to employ your useful tips, so assume we have probably been ripped off badly...Vienna next get in quick with any useful information
JM Fuel Cells - A funny thing happend on the way to the Forum. Standing at the bus stop outside our campsite in Prague. Who pops up but "wee Monica", also on a Europe tour with her boyfriend - small world indeed, don't know who was more flabbergasted (picture to follow) - me at meeting someone I knew, Monica at me in beads and bangles and trying to tame my ponytail or Miranda as yet another unkown female walks up to say hello (Tom, you'll remember the Winchester wedding / 5 bells story).
Love to all G & M
Portia (Stu)
Hi Guys,
Just dropped into the blog to see how you're doing. Sorry, it's been a while. No excuses just that I'm an idle and forgetful so and so.
Prague next I see. Never been but hear it's a most beautiful city.
Went down to Somerset couple of weeks ago. Stayed with Gavin and Alison - unfortunately HM came as well but you can't have everything! Good time hashing with Taunton except that it rained all the time.
M is fine. Just had new carpets fitted and now thinks house is pretty much done ... so thinking about sellint it. That's womens logic for you!
Anyway, looks like you are having a great time. Hope the camper van isn't proving too onerous Miranda.
