So I have been in Peru in Lima now for some time.. and I am sure most of you know by now that on my first full day in Lima my bag was stolen.. that in itself would have been livable but because we had only just gotten here I lost my passport, my entry card for Peru, my camera (with all the photos so far which is why no piccies) my mp3 players, my phone, my cash cards and worst of all my watch. I was so angry partly at myself but on finding out just how many people it had happened to mainly at whichever scumbag stole it.

So I had to wait til monday to go to the British Embassy, find out if I could keep travelling, which it turns out I can, and produce my docs for my Emergency Travel Document. It was to be ready on Wednesday so I have been hanging in Miraflores in Lima (its a pretty nice area) trying to change flights, bought a new bag and camera, and eating great food. It could be worse.. now heres the rub.. my flights now return from Argentina.. and with my ETD and not my real passport they won´t let me in.. so this morning I am meant to leave Lima but first a visit to the Argentinian Embassy to beg for an entry visa.. and while I´m at it I don´t know if I´m going to get out of Peru coz I dont have my exit card!!! hmmm I guess its a wait and see!
