We were up bright and early despite the lateness of the hour we returned last night. Every morning we have looked out of our window to a different view, this morning was no exception. This was the first time we had seen the trees covered with frost, it was so beautiful. We absorbed the view for one last time as we grabbed a quick breakfast before saying our last goodbyes to Jonny and meeting our taxi to the airport. A little more than an hour later and we were checking in at tiny Kiruna airport with its one gate. Stockholm airport was an altogether different affair but we had plenty of time this time as our flight wasn't due to leave until 4.25 pm. We ate a leisurely lunch and wandered round a bit then went to the gate, only to find that our flight had been delayed by 15 minutes and they had changed the gate number. 15 minutes turned into 25 but as the flight took only two hours we arrived around the expected time. Two exhausted but incredibly happy travellers.
