After a leisurely breakfast, we took our leave of Eliassen and headed back over the Lofoten islands to Harstad. It was as if we were experiencing a quick recap of our holiday this week but in the sunshine. It was an excellent opportunity to compare north and south as we travelled high up into the mountains again.  Our room in the Thon Hotel enjoys a superb view over Vags Fjord. We enjoy a lovely meal in the adjoining Egon restaurant.
