I-VISSION had an official visit by Mr Mahamadou Bassirou, the new Regional Delegate of Post and Telecommunications (so responsible for everything related to the internet for the Douala area of Cameroon) to find out more about I-VISSION. Our office is on the 4th floor, it is quite small and there isn't any AC, but the Minister and about 20 of his people managed to fit in (some standing for the entire presentation) and sweated through the presentation with the help of two fans. They did seem quite impressed with I- VISSION and what we are doing.

We got the office arranged and prepared the snacks and drinks, then waited close to two hours for them to arrive. Excel gave a presentation on I-VISSION, I talked about the iHub project (in English with Excel translating), they asked some questions, we served drinks and snacks, then a group photo and they got into their vehicles (with the delegate by himself in his own SUV), and a police motorbike with a revolving light led them away down the street.
