Back to Canada, back to Guelph to catch up with the stressful six months my Dad and his wife had endured. The fire that completely engulfed their house the week before Christmas 2010 had forced them into a suites hotel for the six months it took to rebuilf their beloved home. Losing everything at age 83 and starting over had certainly taken its toll on the two of them and I was more than happy to pitch in and help get them settled back into their beautifully rebuilt little bungalow. Amazing family and neighbors had helped them through their own adventures and I know we were all pretty tired. Summer 2011 in Guelph had recording breaking heat and Dad and I, both lovers of heat, worked tirelessly to get their massive yard back into the showcase it had been.
