Day Two of Singapore. Woke up early and headed to Orchard Road. Well what can I say, if you like to shop then this is the place. It's like Oxford Street but better and about 100 department stores with big name shops such as Cartier and Chanel. Really expensive though! I bought a really nice Quartz watch for 10 pounds and some DKNY perfume. After grabbing some beef noodles for lunch I headed to Singapore Zoo. While waiting for the bus I met a guy called Matt who has been travelling around Asia for 15 months, and there was me thinking 6 months was a long time. We chatted all the way to the Zoo on the bus and ended up spending the whole day together. The zoo was amazing and I have got some really good snaps. Was really nice chatting and walking around looking at the sights with somebody. He heads to Bornea tomorrow to spend time with the Orangutans (I think thats how you spell it hehe), lucky guy. I grabbed some chicken and rice at a local market on the way home which was yum. Quick ciggy, shower, pack and bed. Got to be up at 5.45 to catch the MRT to the airport for my 9am flight to Perth. Really looking forward to seeing Stephen, Jayne and the A's.
