Oi! (portuguese for hello!)

Sorry about the lack of photos but things have been pretty hectic or we´ve been on a bus.

Iguazu Falls one one word describes it - IMMENSE. Unfortunately the weather wasn´t that great, and just as if it wasn´t wet enough anyway, we decided (on the recommendation of a friend who will be appropriately punished when we´re next in London- Joe be warned!) to go on a launch boat right upto the falls, Indiana Jones eat your heart out - the photo´s will be up shortly however, the ones previously when Howard was there with the boys are probably more flattering as the sun was shining (but obviously the latter ones are graced with yours truely, surely worth a look!)

After our awe inspiring two days in Iguazu (oh DON´T go to Hostel Inn Iguazu - it might have a cool pool but staff are crap and it is so noisy all night long!) We were actually glad to get on the coach to Rio as we´d get more peace and quiet!

We have now been in Rio for 48 hours it is wicked! ~It´s been pretty overcast so not been on the beaches sunbathing did walk along Ipanema beach in the surf yesterday afternoon which was brilliant. Also went to a fabulous brazilian club last night, in this old converted Pink Brothel aptly named Casa Rosa. it was just a big sprawling house with different rooms and a big outside patio with loads of live samba and Brazilian funk, also did their typical dish (like our sunday lunch) included with your entry, really random place and we were the only English speakers - Fantastic!

Today had afternoon tea in an grand old colonial tea house - totally out of place in Downtown Rio, very pretty. And been up the rickety old tram up one of the Hills. about to have our first Caipirinha of the day and then head out for more Brazilian Fun!!!

We head to the Beach further north tomorrow Buzios, but thankfully will be having more time in Rio at the end of our hols before flying home - and great news the weather forecast is HOT,HOT,HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
