I wish I'd have planned to stop off in Hong Kong for longer. Hong Kong has never been massively high up my list but it's there.
For now it was a quick stop after a sleepless flight from London. A flight where I was offered snail porridge for breakfast. Well that certainly went down as a new one for this chef. And there was me thinking only Heston had a play around with porridge recipes. The flight was definately full of emotion to say the least. A weep for a goodbye, a lot of wriggling of excitement, and a huge list of plans quizzing around waiting to be put in place over the next few weeks.
The airport- well I can't really ever say I've been to an airport, sat in an airport bar, ordered an ice cold beer and enjoyed a jazz band performance. There you go... That's Hong Kong for ya. It was certainly a pleasant stop over
