After we went to bed at Packsaddle the locals started partying up till about 2.00pm the sound system in the bar was great and they played the best music. Left Packsaddle next morning drove to Tiborburra, not much there, very rough drive to Camerons Corner, Dale did two shockers so Glenn carried out bush repairs. Camped at Camerons Corner, had a few drinks with fellow traveller. Next morning left and drove the to Innaminka, another rough trip, not much at Innaminka, camped on Coopers Creek at Culleymore. Campsite, boys had a fish but no luck, most amazing number of pelicans I have ever seen, the ruckus they made in the morning was unbelievable. Left campsite and drove straight to Dig Tree then onto Birdsville, huge drive arrived about 5.30pm, straight to Birdsville Pub for well earned beer. Camped in caravan-park in town. Damage so far - Glenn and Wendy - Nil, Dale - 2 shockers, one headlight, one windscreen and one chair. By god he is tough on his equipment. Expensive-stop over in Mt Isa to look forward to.
