Day 4 - all aboard the BANTER BUS!!

After an early rise at 6:30 to pack our bags for our three day trip away!! We strolled through the village of Imlil without the interruption of traders saying they will give us a "happy price" to board our 4 month old Mercedes-Benz coach including air-conditioning (we do know how to travel in style!!)

While driving through the winding roads of the mountains we had our speaker of full volume listening to a very wide variety of music (including the full Abba album to Ellie's dismay).

The highlights of today were experiencing the very limited toilet facilities (a hole in the floor with no toilet roll, soap, flusher or tap + dignity ewww!) that was definitely the most distressing experience yet but also a shock of the difference between our and their lives. Another one was the ease of buying items without the stress of haggling them towards a reasonable price.

After 10 long hours on the coach with incredible views of Morocco we arrived at the beautiful Zagora Hotel with a pool! The rooms were en-suite with basic but colourful features unfortunately one room wasn't as good as the rest! After the journey we had a long awaited dip in the outdoor pool where we practised our go-pro underwater skills + synchronised swimming which wasn't very successful.

With the lack of wifi, dinner was very enjoyable and a nice end to the day.
