Today was a day full of frustration. Well, in the beginning. The day started off perfectly fine. We got to the train station on time and we were on our way to Lyon. Once we arrived we went on a fabulous adventure trying to find out hostel. We sat on the balcony until the reception opened. I think we were all ecstatic to put our bags down.

For lunch we had a hunk of baguette and once we settled in we went into the city. We stopped by a bakery and some people got some food. Next to the bakery was an ice cream stand. We sat at the table and enjoyed the tasty, cool treats.

When we were all finished, we wondered the streets even more. We came to one of the underground tunnels. They took us to the middle of the city. We took a picture in the Lyon sign. After that we all went into a small shop. While we were there, some shenanigans started. A bunch of people all wearing blue started shouting in celebration because of the upcoming soccer game.

We decided to leave and we went across a bridge to the other side of the city. We window shopped for a few hours and then we headed to the restaurant "Les Enfants Terribles" aka "The Terrible Children".

As we waited for Mandy's friends to arrive, Debbie and Tara fell in love with our very handsome waiter. Just about the entire dinner, we took stalker pictures. Overall, the dinner was great and we had a good time. But sadly, Debbie and Tara didn't get his digits. (They still say they are married). Now we're back at the hostel and are about to go to sleep. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings us.
