Ok so here's the situation. We have just arrived in Westport on the upper-west coast of the south island, and it's been a bit of a ride. Last time I posted we were in Wellington, preparing ourselves to stay up all night in order to get the ferry to the south island at 3 in the morning. Well that didn't work out as we'd hoped, cause after buying the tickets earlier that day (costing us $100 each might i add), we went to a bar, walked all the way back to the van and had what was possibly the best nights sleep, waking up at 7 the next morning only to find we missed the bloody boat. Luckily we could change our tickets cause we weren't really looking forward to paying again. We've now successfully travelled across the top of the south island and arrived here. We had a decent wash today by sneaking into a campsite and stealing they're showers, but i think they knew we were there cause our hot water cut off which sucked. Other than that, we're making pretty good time. The van is still awesome and the others appear to be getting sun-tanned... Milky here is pasty as ever. Speak to ya'll soon. xxx
