Just to let all of you know that amanda is ok. There were some explosions in northern india today but I recieved a text off her immediately saying that she was ok. As far as I can gather she was not in the vicinity at the time of the explosions. It is quite likely that the networks will be clogged so when I get more information I will post it here.

We're loving following your itinterary! It all sounds wonderful. We realise it has not all been plain sailing but you're keeping your spirits up and enjoying every moment - by the sound of it! Sub zero temperatures here. I have been helping Rebecca today with some measured survey work for her course at a 17th century chapel - we were freezing! Victoria has had 2 auditions for music college and we are waiting to hear.

Just read all your messages on Amanda's Adventures and they sound amazing, you really are soaking up the culture out there! I don't doubt that you will probably see some more dives before you leave the continent though!! Hopefully without the cockroaches, I really feel for you both there, I think they're awfull. Just a bit of trivia on these ceatures, if the world was to be exposed to the atomic bomb, they'd be only things left!!!! (nice thought eh!) Perhaps you can try them as a delicacy further on in your travels - or perhaps step in the shoes of Mr 'Beach' man and try the snake blood too (although I'd miss you far too much if anything went wrong :/)

Well, I'm very excited about coming to see you in June, but in the meantime I will try to curb the enthusiasm by reading your messages :) and perhaps the photos to go with them?

Thanks for the itinerary, so many amazing places to enjoy. . . We just loved India although we only saw Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and you are to see so much more.
