We're in Pushkar today. I have just had a Pooja ceremony by the holy lake in the centre, so now I have a blood red bindhi on my forehead and a red peice of string wrapped around my right wrist (because I'm not married yet). It was very interesting to be blessed in this way and apparently now I have some good Karma (which I need!) and will live until I'm 100 ( well I've always said that I would). Its a very religious place as all the Hindu's come here to pray...

Just had my last message wiped- so this will be a quicker one. I have been two weeks now in this beautiful Country and I am very excited to be here, we have visited Goa, Mumbai, Jodpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer and the Thar desert. Each place has been interesting and unique. Last night we trekked into the Thar desert on camels and then spent the evening sleeping under the stars (the brave ones did). It was a very peaceful experience to be out there all alone...
