10am another pretty decent night sleep, shower & change. Then off to central station to wave off Lars & meet Jasper & Bram from Maastricht off their train just in time.
11am together we caught the free ferry across the harbour to a cute seaside like place for late breakie. A shame my muesli & yogurt was mostly yoghurt & no muesli but the company was good & I got to know the Dutch boys better, plus Marty's mum showed up so that was cool. The food was on Marty, he shouldn't have, what a great host!!
1pm back over the river & one last proper wonder around town before it started to rain lightly, we stopped at a small mall & again for snacks at the hot food to go vending machine place!
3pm back at Marty's to warm up over tea coffee & biccys. Livvy & Kirst left for their flight around 4pm, leaving us to have one last proper Sunday arvo sesh slash doona day. So good to just kick back & catch up, listening to Marty's many stories & sharing mine. We had a good few laughs :)
6.30pm time to head. I'll miss Marty! We parted with Bram & Jasper at the station & grabbed dinner at Schipol Airport before catching separate flights
9.30pm I was first in line & first on board because Josh Liz & Roseanna's flights had been earlier. Best flight yet as far as turbulence goes anyway, a confident touch down & I met mum & dad at the BP back in Manchester at arrivals
10.30pm a lift back to my flat & a quick prep for uni tomorrow before bed. It'll feel like it never happened in the morning. £170 flights were steep, €60 spent not too bad, but the company & the sights were worth one in a million. One last minute trip well worth taking :)
