El Bolson - a quiet little town on the way to the famous Bariloche.
Not a lot to do around here - a few hiking trails, a park and some farms.
Farms? Yes... They are called farms. Located near El Bolson in a place called ¨Lago Puelo¨ there are lots of ¨hostels¨ which look like farms. The 2 famous ones are ¨The israeli farm¨ and ¨The italian farm¨. Both owned by Israelis and host only Israelis. Both of them are Shanti like places where people mostly rest and smoke drugs... We stayed at a hostel near the Italian farm and enjoyed some Hummus and Shakshuka they serve there :D
We only took one hiking trail which was amazing - ¨Cajon Azul¨ Or - ¨The blue canyon¨.
The trail begins with a long walk which ends at a river. There you have 2 bridges in a really bad shape... Broken wooden planks are dangling all over and it shakes with every step you take. Lucky for me - i´m not a fat guy :D
After crossing the river the trail goes on in a beautiful riverside trail. The wheather was once again perfect, and the water were so clear and cool.
The trekking ends at the magnificent canyon - a narrow canyon with a strong waterflow. You walk right beside it (very high up) and see and hear the wonderful water flowing beneath you.
We had a great time on that trip! enjoyed every minute...
Other than that we just rested and cooked by ourselves just to practice.
Next on our list - Bariloche!!!
