Hello one and all, We are now back in Kaikoura after a huge long drive down as we went "the scenic" route! But it was well worth it. We are back here as last time we came we just stayed a night. But we wanted to come back as it's a lovely seaside town and for Gemma to swim with wild Dusky dolphins. We have booked two nights here and plan to spend the entire morning with the dolphins. We didn't book the swim and there was only spectating seats...

Hello all,We stayed in Richmond last night. We are only a stones throw away from Nelson. We had a little look around this big town but nearly everything closes down for Good Friday so we left around 10am to head down to Kaikoura to hopefully go Wild Dolphin Swimming :o)Love Gemma, Darren and George xxx xxx xxx

Hello, We just came here for a morning. But there is two very good reasons to come here. One being the drive up from Motueka through Takaka, which is a lovely little village and onwards to Collingwood. The scenery is just beautiful. The second reason is that Collingwood has the best chocolate house in the world and oh... my... god they're amazing. We spent over $21 on them, about 7 to 8 quid. Hello peoples, Well, this was the drive where we almost ran out of fuel. A very long drive. You can sometimes drive for over a 100km's and not see any sign of life, let alone a fuel station. But we did make it to Greymouth. We drove up through Arther's Pass which was amazing scenery. We also saw the battle site for the Narnia film.
