Had our standard camping breakfast of banana pancakes with IHOP maple syrup. With a side of avocado on pre-toasted bread. I originally laughed at how lazy you must be to buy pre-toasted bread......but it's the best thing when you are camping! You can find it at good old trusty Walmart.

Had a play like massive big kids on the jumping pillows which was super fun, but also highlighted that our fitness levels were well below par. But we can work on that when we get to Canada.

Found nuts in the trunk of the tree next to our camper that a woodpecker had been loudly pecking on the day before. Didn't get a picture of the bird unfortunately.

Packed up and hit the road along the coast to a campground in Santa Cruz.

The first thing I saw when we arrived at the campground was a ninja squirrel that scrapped itself along the road like a soldier. I've learnt that Sam doesn't share my enthusiasm for Squirrels.....but I have to listen to at least an hour a day of car talk.....so while we are in America he's just going to have to accept it.

It fogged over and the temperature dropped, so we heated up our tinned soup for an early dinner. Then I popped popcorn like Drew Barrymore popped in the opening scene of Scream. We watched movies in the van and enjoyed the delicious popcorn.
