First dirt roads - woo hoo! Lots of red dirt and fantastic wildlife. We have seen emus, kangaroos, eagles, frilled neck lizards and shingled back lizards. We have been amazed at how the scenery changes from trees to barren landscape, to big boulders of granite. We passed a salt lake which Zac was intrigued by! Just left Bourke for the next leg of the journey! Off to Tiboorurra with the aim to be camping at Fort Grey in the Sturt National Park tonight. North Bourke, Kidman's camp was good however the shopping centre in Bourke had it's own security guard and the alcohol shop had all the alcohol behind Perspex! Beautiful evening sunset and amazing night sky. I'll upload some photos!

4:24am! We are leaving! All very excited. You would think that with only a couple of hours sleep we would be tired but we're not... Well not yet! Looking forward to taking you on the journey with us! First stop Mudgee for breakfast!

Just left Nyngan where we had a stop for lunch. I don't think I could live here! The road trip has been going well with joke telling, singing and lots of flat scenery and long straight roads. Just leaving Mudgee @ 8:42am after having good old McDonalds for brekky. The sun is shining bright, next stop Dubbo for petrol and then Bourke for the night!
