I decided to break up this blog today by just telling a pointless story about Frank, his younger brother Fred, and their father Bruce. Enjoy! After the best part of a month away, today I'm finally blogging about a place while I'm actually in that very same place! Unfortunately today (the day I'm writing this) I'm on my second visit to London, and the day I'm writing about is the second day of our first visit. From over two weeks ago. I sprayed myself in the eye with aftershave today. Not the greatest start to the day, it frikking stung. But hey, at least my eye smelt good! Not sure how I didn't 'see' that coming (haha). After Dad finished breakfast (I didn't go, I'd been removing my scruffy look from my face, not sure how this relates to the story but some people might like it reading from afar), we collected our things (namely Dad and his camera, he always needed his camera) and headed out. ...

A bit of a doomsday scenario happened this morning; our hotel was too far from the train station to walk, and it was way too close for a taxi to want to take us (they're big on not doing short trips). To be truthful, it really only was a 15 minute walk, but we did have to go via Daniel's new accommodation for the next two nights, and the station was on the other side of town, which meant walking through the city centre fully laden!
