Hello!! Well we are still in Surfers Paradise...but have now ventured into town itself!! It's pure luxury staying a house for a few days!! crazy the little things you miss when you sre away...like the tv remote - in the hostels you have to watch what the other travellers are watching!! ; ) or a music system - i dont have an i pod so i find myself lingering in shops just to listen to some music!! ; ) or a washing line - never thought i would say it but it was a novelty to hang my washing outside on a line!! ; ) well anyways...its back to hostel life tomorrow as we are heading frther down the coast to Byron Bay. only for a few days before coming back up here at the weekend. Bonus!! But as for Surfers itself, its an amazing place to look at...long stretch of golden sandy beach and plenty of surf, then the back drop of high rise shops and apartment blocks!! quite amazing and definately gives the picture that the place isnt covering up the fact that it is highly commercial!! planty to do in town though...shopping, eating and ice creameries everywhere! the beach is gorgeous but i still have to gain the energy to try out surfing!! someone keeps on at me to try it and i am determined too before i leave aussie!! ; ) as for today though, it is 12:17pm to be precise and about 27 degrees outside. nothing much plannd for the day so might catch up on tanning!!! i am still an english white colour - not impressed at all but theres still time yet!! ; ) i hope all is great back there and all the christmas plans and parties are underway!! love all round and i'll speak to you soon.
