Hey!! arrived in Cairns yesterday after spending 3 days in the Outback - well sort of, in Alice Springs and Uluru - hiked over canyons, visited aborigine sacred ground and saw ayres rock by sunset and sunrise! awesome sights and totally indescribable! driving alonf the stuart highway and seeing the silouhette of the rock was stunning! we walked round the baseand learnt all sorts about life in the outback! not sure i could survuve out there but was a fab experience. spent the night under the desert stars in a swag and came across all sorts of oz creepy crawlies! the next day was the 5 hour drive back to alice springs and we were kept well amused by bus basketball and a very enthusiastic driver! ; ) now back to civilisation...and booked to do the great barrier reef snorkelling tomorrow...will let you know if i find nemo!! and will update you on my condition after getting to team extreme...doing a rainforest swing on tuesday before starting our journey down the east coast...will leave it there for now but hope this reaches you well andhope to speak tvery soon. lots of love and thinking of you always.
