The sun was shining in Las Vegas and the perfect day to be a true tourist and get a photograph with the famous Las Vegas sign which was at south of the strip. I couldn't believe they had two horses there that tourists could sit on for a photo.
Mary's friend had arrived the night before so we went to visit them at the Luxor, and Bobbi and I explored Escalabur, New York - New York hotels before meeting back up with Mary to buy last minute show tickets for tonight. Vegas is famous for its shows, whether that's Cirque du Soleil or big-name music performers like Britney Spears. Advance tickets can set you back hundreds of dollars, but you can pick up discounted ticketsfrom Tix4tonight outlets spread along the Strip. They only sell tickets for performances that day, so you don't know what will be available, but you can save up to half price. We managed to get tickets to see Mystere Cirque du Soleil in the Treasure Island Hotel and also saved $10 to their buffet before the show.
Powerful athleticism, high-energy acrobatics and inspiring imagery fill the air. Deemed a theatrical "flower in the desert," Mystère thrills audiences. Mary and Bobbi were glad they decided to join me. It was definitely a show we will not forget.
