hi everyone well now i can officially write this properly as my partner in crime has finally arrived. left the placement on tuesday night- v sad to say bye to the girls ( if youre reading this pips and jord-i love u ) but was excited about seeing ames and really beginning our travelling. however............started a little roughly. basically my project people had agreed that i could stay in their office for the night as the bus arrived at 3am. however, when the bus dumped me on the side of the road the driver was nowhere to be found and he didnt turn up until at least 4am. i had no credit on my phone so i couldnt call anyone, i have to admit i have never balled its so much in my life. i was so so scared !!!!!!!! all the tuk tuk drivers came over to comfort me but of course they didnt speak a word of english. i finally managed to get hold of the boss and told him i was stranded, however, just as he was on his way the driver turned up - all got v confusing but i managed to get to be at 6am only to be woken at 7 telling me there was a taxi waiting to take me to Kao San. got to kao San. checked into the ironically named Kao san "palace" and went to do some shopping etc. met ames at about 5, so nice to see her. she was clearly tired but we were both just so excited. Did some shopping, had a major catch up and got some supper.... then we decided to get some piercing. Im not going to write what i got pierced for fear of my parents but lets just say that ames had a bit of an experience whilst getting her tummy pierced, alot of blackouts, tubes and needles involved !!!!!!!!!!!!! had a tuk tuk tour today which was funny, off to the famous pat pong tonight !!!!!!! and perhaps some thai boxing. Tommorrow were heading to kanchanaburi for an organised trip involving elephant trekking etc... and then off to Ko chang. so a hectic few days for us... will keep u all posted xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
