hey guys, this is gonna be short and sweet. sorry no postcard in AGES, we're always moving around on the tour and is really hard to get to an internet cafe. New Zealand is great! the tour is really good, the people are really nice (theres like 30 of us now, lots of Canadians) and we've done some amazing things so far. Highlights so far... for myles white water rafting down one of the highest waterfalls that u can commercially raft down, ummm id guess also at the endless nights hes spent playing spoons! for me, bungy jumping and sky diving, which i did this morning. It was so great! Not really all that scary. Just amazing views and a very strange feeling of being so high! I jumped at 12,000 feet. we've got some great things coming up, now that we're on the south island...the Fox Glacier, swimming with wild dolphins tomorrow, trying our hand at skiing or snow boarding, a tour around the main places that Lord of the Rings was filmed....the list goes on and on! Oh I think another highloght has to be Rotorua. A town build on a very thin part of the earths crust so theres loads of steam coming from random parts of the ground. Boiling hot, so ppl cook on it! We visited a Maori village. Very interesting. Saw the Hakka dance live. Really cool. While M went rafting in the evening I went on a tour around the area and had a fab time in a hot spring. One river was hot, really hot, then the other cold, so was lovely moving around. Enjoyed some OJ and biscuits there. Bliss. Gotta go, G xxx
