George's World Travels
So Sydney...
We only ended up spending 5 dys in the city. Although it is a lovely city with lots to do, its still a city. By the end we felt we'd done it all....
Blue Mountains - beautiful, lots of bush walks and pretty waterfalls, s you have probably already seen.
The Rocks - cool are of the city. Went there at the weekend so the market was in full swing.
Darling Harbour - Aquarium, IMax theatre, we also did a fun fun cruise around Sydney. It took us to Taronga Zoo where we photographed lots of fun creatures. My (myles writing from now on) favourites were Omaha the snow leopard, the gorillas, and the wombat that roamed around being fun.
Sydney Bridge climb - This was very very cool. Although we thought Big Pete (our guide) took a bit too much time telling us things about what we were looking at. G got a bit bored and I was more interested in looking at the planes going over his head than at the things Big Pete was telling us about. Nevertheless it was a good experience and the views at the top are hard to put into words. Very special indeed.
Chilli and Chester didn't go out much in Sydney, although they did go to the koala sanctuary just outside of town and Chilli hugged a koala bear. Chester didn't want to as he is afraid of them (and most things for that matter).
We watched Neighbours, it's weird watching it when theyre so far ahead!!!!
We didnt go to the cool cinema in the end, which was ashame i guess, but we're both so tired by the end of the day that we both would fall asleep through a whole film. G fell asleep in the IMax and I nearly did too. However the cinema in the hostel we're currently staying at is meant to be really cool so that should make up for it.
