Getting to Bologna wasn't as simple as planned, we accidentally got on the slow train when we had to change in Milan, so arrived two hours later than we thought. Genoa (or Genova) was a really nice city with a large port but also areas of cobbled alleyways and sculptured buildings. We spent our first afternoon there just wandering the streets and getting a bite to eat. The little pathways were a change to any of the other cities we'd visited so we enjoyed just walking around. After a last minute decision to visit Belgium we arrived around 7 o'clock by the time we found our hostel so went straight out to get food. We tried to find the main centre but got slightly lost so resorted to a Pizza Hut, not quite what we intended but we were fed up of walking and rather hungry! Although we did end up walking through the Royal Park which was quite nice! We had one full day in Brussels which I think was enough really to take in the main sights....
