We're still in Franz Josef and couldn't leave until tomorrow because of bus timetables. We've seen the glacier, I've done a rainforest walk and that's about all there is to do, so today has mostly been about killing time.

After the extreme sock shopping we did in Auckland, we thought we'd crank things up a notch and really go wild, so we engaged in some white knuckle Scrabble action. Jim was deeply unhappy with my two letter word knowledge (all that practise on Scrabulous paid off) and, after an hour and a half of attempts to put down made up words, Jim finally admitted defeat with me winning with a healthy 100 point margin.

Then this evening I met up with Fiona, a girl I met at Neighbours night in Melbourne, for drinks along with her friend Georgie. It was ace but I am quite tipsy now which I'm probably going to regret when my alarm goes off at 6.30am tomorrow morning...
